1. Creating Supportive Programs for Families and Community Residents

Advocate for families and residents of York South–Weston by promoting programs, services, and support systems that address individual needs, strengthen well-being, and improve quality of life.

2. Strengthening Local Businesses and Economic Growth

Support the growth and development of local businesses, entrepreneurs, and economic initiatives that create jobs, attract investment, and expand opportunities within the community.

3. Advocating for Affordable and Equitable Housing

Advocate for affordable, accessible, and equitable housing solutions that meet the needs of residents of all ages, incomes, and backgrounds.

4. Promoting the Development of Community Infrastructure and Public Safety

Champion infrastructure improvements that enhance housing, public transit, roads, public spaces, and community services. Contributing to the creation of a more connected, sustainable neighborhood and enhancing public safety.

5. Promoting Cultural Diversity and Inclusion

Support the efforts of diverse cultural and ethnic communities to establish community and cultural centres that celebrate heritage, foster inclusion, and strengthen community connections.

6. Supporting the Establishment of Equitable Community Centres

Advocate for the development of an accessible and equitable community centre that promotes recreation, wellness, learning, social engagement, and opportunities for residents of all ages.
